Hope you enjoyed my interview on the Teach My Teen about Money podcast. I had such a good time chatting with Nancy and Joseph!

As a young adult, you are in a fantastic place in your life!  A clean slate where you can decide the direction you want your life to take. Don’t forget to invest in yourself and learn as much as you can! If you make wise decisions now, you can make the future so much easier on yourself.

And for the parents – Parenting is hard. We need all the help we can get. Many of us were not taught financial skills at all as young adults so we may feel inadequate about how we can teach our own kids. If they don’t learn from you, where will they learn? I hope that I gave you an idea of practical money moments in your life that you can use to teach your teen better money skills. If they can grasp these concepts now and make them habits, think of all the heartache they can avoid and what an advantage they will have for wealth building.
